The universe is a rare and weird place we don't seem to know to the fullest so, as everything in life, things come to an inevitable end. There is a phrase that says, “so it goes”, and this means that a person died. So there is no mourning or grief just a brief phrase that explains that nothing is forever and that there is nothing we can do about it. Although it is a sad and a really bad experience we must face this action and acknowledge that we can’t keep things forever, and just learn to let go for good.  In the novel Slaughterhouse Five this phrase appears a total number of 106 times and this appears every time someone dies because of the Tralfamadorians way of life. Reflecting Death Where do you think we go when we die? I think our body is gone but our soul isn’t, as in the sole instant we die our soul is reborn in the life of a newborn. I think that as our soul is elevated after our passing as we get a new chance in another life. It may happen in an instant but our soul can stay waiting for a body for many years until we are born and ready to start over from zero. What is the worst way to die?  I think that the worst way to die is by drowning, imagine being dropped in an ocean running out of air and you can’t do anything about as you start suffocating and ultimately die tragically as you fall in to the deep of the ocean. Abortion You’re four months pregnant and an ultrasound reveals your baby will have Down’s syndrome. Do you keep the baby or abort?  In one way stopping one person to live a life can be a tough decision, but what if this person is sick from birth? Does it change how is going to live his life? Will he suffer or succeed? We don’t know any of these answers but we can explain them in a way to prove a point. Firstly taking a life from someone is a mistake and a decision no one should face to avoid the suffering from it, you can let your son live and be different. Maybe he can’t do anything and needs to be going in and out of hospitals constantly to help him.
